Disallow access to my sound for specifitc application...

Is this possible? I've got an emulator, where the mute function doesn't work properly for my soundcard...

The emulator is called pSX: http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/

There isn't any commando line option for setting off the sound...

well not sure if you are asking for a generic method that you can later use. but a hackish workarround is to create a user with no sound privileges and run the application from that account
