http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Alsa should cover almost everything.

Re: help me,i can not hear nothing

as hacosta said, easiest thing to do is open up a terminal and run alsamixer

Unmute everything (Master and PCM will be muted by default) and up the volumes then hit esc to save the changes.  See if that works.

Re: help me,i can not hear nothing

The alsa daemon isn't required to play sound, it is just to restore volume settings at startup. See the ALSA Setup Wiki

Re: help me,i can not hear nothing

another really dumb question: are you sure the volume on the laptop itself is up, and unmuted?

oops, i see hacosta already covered that, n/m.

Hmmmm.  Interesting, I didn't have sound until I started the daemon.

Re: help me,i can not hear nothing

Because all the daemon does, is restoring your sound levels (volume, muteing). If you boot your PC, all sound devices are muted. Either you have to unmute them manually and configure the volume or you let alsa daemon do this for you.

Re: help me,i can not hear nothing

Your lsmod's and stuff look exactly the same as mine so I'll tell you what I did:

pacman -S alsa-lib alsa-utils alsa-oss alsaplayer <---- !!!!
aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/whatever.wav
Then alsamixer and PCM shows up, change front to a higher volume
Add alsa to daemons

**EDIT** Try that first, but if that doesn't work through in an alsaconf too before the aplay **EDIT**
