Question about Mirrors

Hi There,

I'm having a local mirror which is going to be a public Arch Linux mirror. It has been functioning for a few months. It "still" doesn't have the new 2007.05 Duke ISO images but Voodoo.. Anybody has an idea for this ? I have removed release repo from my syncmirror.sh script. Are they related ?

Re: Question about Mirrors

1. Where are you rsyncing to/from.
2. What does your rsync command look like.

A few dirs were moved around in the sync structure recently. Let me know the above two and I may be able to help.

Re: Question about Mirrors

ahh. try adding 'iso' to the repositories list.
SYNC_REPO=(current extra unstable testing community iso)

new isos are now here: ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/iso/

Re: Question about Mirrors

Should I add the iso address to my script or the script is also ready for that out of the box ? I recently changed the Wiki to include iso as the keyword to repositries..

Re: Question about Mirrors

your paste script isn't there anymore (must have expired), so I can't tell what exactly needed to be added...

Here it is... Actually I just realized that it has allready downloaded the new ISO's to new iso/ folder. But the weird thing is that it also downloded 64 bit ISO files which it shouldn't supposed to do because I have --exclude for it in my rsync command..?

Re: Question about Mirrors

you have exclude iso/x86_64..
but if you look at the ftp structure now..

ftp/iso/2007.05/i686
ftp/iso/2007.05/x86_64

where 2007.05 is the date of the iso.
