Yep. The domain expired and was not renewed. As I recall some of the themes were made available somewhere else, but not sure where - anybody?

Yep, it's gone. Me or tenr could not get a hold of the owner. We tried for well over a year with no luck. tenr has many of the fluxbox theme on his site...one of mine is there as well. tenr.de

they never seem to last, it's a pity that the flux developers are too lazy to set something up. There's been a lot of great themes lost over the years.

there are also many themes on the fluxbox wiki...I think most from ikaros site.

There's http://box-look.org/ instead now.

They're just generally lazy in my experience. Never come across a more apathetic team of devs.

Well I somewhat agree. I've requested a few features and they always say that it's to much work or they just don't want to do it. They are however redoing the site for the 1.0 release. There is also a wiki now with a ton of themes on it...

Why not just host them at freshmeat.net as suggested by the Fluxbox team? No fuss and definitely won't get lost. If I were in their development squad I wouldn't care to get involved in that business either. There are far too many sites on the web that perform that function admirably to just spend the time duplicating the work required.

freshmeat is slow, the site is cumbersome to browse, and the categorisation there is weak. It's nowhere near the likes of xfce-look, or similar sites.

The 1.0 release? _They_ should be the ones using the Duke codename - I been using Arch nearly 3 years and I ditched fluxbox at least two years ago. It still has the same bugs it has then - I fail to see the ongoing appeal tbh.

Man, you could also praise them for the work they did instead of complaining.

He's not complaining, it's true.

Well, while I don't want to get in to a flame war about it, in my experience the CONS of fluxbox more than outweighed the PROS, so I have little praise for them. Fluxbox was fundamentally buggy for me and didn't offer much that *box did not already.

Got a reply back after quiet a few weeks
Hi Adrian,
damn, I had so many trouble the last 1 and a half years that I have
totally forgotten to renew boxwhore. :/ Sorry.
If you want you can have the files and so on. Unfortunatley the domain
is gone :(
