I have installed qbittorrent (fatsobob's repo). The icon shows up, but when I try to start the program:
[
root@archbox tinker]# qbittorrent
qbittorrent: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_date_time-mt.so.1.33.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I have the boost package from Extra. Seems to be 1.34ver. What am I doing wrong?

I am actually stumped by this myself. I did a little searching, but alas my querying has left me with little to work with.

Ask fatsobob to recompile qtorrent.
boost lately was updated to 1.34.0

Right now, I am having trouble compiling qbittorrent from the aur. For some reason, it keeps spitting that I need a version of libtorrent, which for one thing is wrong because qbittorrent uses rb_libtorrent, and my version of rb_libtorrent is up to date.
Update: I had to manually get the source from the qbittorrent site and compile it rather than using the version I already had up to make the latest package. I will give this a shot and let you know how it turns out.
FINAL SOLUTION!
I just had to rebuild the package, I will upload it to my repository right now.
pacman -Sy qbittorrent should yield a working product now. Sorry for having it broken, and thank you for bringing this problem to my attention.

As of their official bugtracker:
qBittorrent v0.9.0 & v0.9.1 require Libtorrent v0.12. However, v0.12 if not officially released yet, hence v0.9.2 will be able to compile with libtorrent v0.11 too.
qBittorrent v1.0.0 WILL require libtorrent v0.13 because it brings a lot of new features.
Also, they tell you that libtorrent is required on the download page:
http://qbittorrent.sourceforge.net/download.php

I had the proper version of libtorrent installed, something with joost just broke which required it to be recompiled.
Problem should be solved now.
