Off to using Peanut and Slackware, no hard feelings but I need my CD to burn, PDA and scanner to connect and arch won't do it.

Re: pacman update perl 5 conflicts

irssi process resulted in

/sbin/ldconfig: file /usr/lib/libborqt-6.9-qt2.3.so is truncated
but no such file

that lead me to an error in my ld cache
which pointed me to mozilla-firebird lib folder ...
which was a result of firebird not removing itself... hence my mistake

killed the ld cache and cleaned up ld.conf file

so back to irssi install. good it worked.

net onto perlxml
removed and renistall

then ldconfig -v |more
seems good

then went onto individual installs of pacman -Syu programs.
no errors reported
