kdeinit: Aborting. No write access to '/home/belhifet/.ICEauthority'.
DCOPRef::call(): no DCOP client or client not attached error
This happens with every kde program.
I tried executing dcopserver because sometimes it tells me to check that dcopserver is running.
$ dcopserver

I did an ls -la at my home folder and the only files that are owned by other than belhifet:belhifet, are the following:
drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 152 2007-02-14 01:51 ..
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 35 2007-05-16 01:30 .DCOPserver_myhost_:0 -> /home/belhifet/.DCOPserver_myhost__0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 53 2007-05-16 01:30 .DCOPserver_myhost__0
-rw------- 1 root root 947 2007-05-07 00:10 .ICEauthority
Why are those files owned by root?
Chowning .ICEauthority to belhifet:belhifet won't help.
Also my hostname is not "myhost" anymore.
How would I tell DCOPserver about that change?
Does anyone have permission problems with KDE applications?
