Problems with Google Earth

Hello, I have installed google earth on my arch, but I have a problem. This is a screen

If I try to zoom in, the map becomes a bit white,

And it becomes more white and more white until this...

Is there anyone who has the same problem? What must I do to solve this? I have an Intel i915 graphic card.

Greetings

No idea.

You can execute google-earth from a console, and view the output. Perhaps shows something interesting.

BTW: It's curious, you from Catalonia, me from Basque country, and speaking english ;-) Congratulations by the high-resolution of entire Catalonia.

But I don't want to update the whole system to testing. Is there any way to install only the testing version of mesa? What command should I run?

Well, we won't backport changes to mesa in current anymore. We are preparing for X.org 7.3 and if you had a look at what is in testing you would have noticed most of the stuff in there actually is X.org related. Plus, yes you can install only certain packages from testing by using a little tinkering with pacman. Shouldn't be too hard to find out.

Re: Problems with Google Earth

That's strange! I'm running only stuff from current and google-earth works fine. In fact it works that well I can see my truck parked at work and even see what's been loaded although I haven't carried a luxury yacht for a couple of years. (They probably don't trust me):D

Re: Problems with Google Earth

I had the same problem. Under the "View" menu I unselected "Atmosphere" and it started working.
