brasero problems

Hi,

when I try to burn an audio cd with brasero, it often just seems to hang at the stage where it's "getting size" after I hit "burn". I sometimes see the following error on the command line:

GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_bus_source_dispatch: assertion `message != NULL' failed

any ideas?

also, when it does work, it seems to insert a 1 second inter-track pause between all the tracks. This is really annoying, how can you stop this from happening?

any help appreciated!

Have you installed all necessary gstreamer codec packs?

Yes, other gstreamer software works corectly. Brasero seems to work 50% of the time too.

I think to elimibate this 1 second gap between tracks, I need to burn DAO? is this correct? Is there any gtk burning software that gives this option?
