Output to Television

Hi all, i've installed the new xorg server and the new intel driver from testing. My graphic card is a intel 845 and i'm trying to output to a TV using a SCART cable (my tv supports PAL/NTCS). I can't seem to get any output except a blue screen (Blue Screen of Death big_smile). I would really appreciate any help on this this is really driving me nuts. If anyone has a similar setup maybe you could post your xorg.conf file. Thank you in advance any help will be very much appreciated wink.

I don't know if    Option "MonitorLayout" "LFP,LFP+TV" in xorg.conf should make any difference because in my case it just doesn't sad

Re: Output to Television

I don't have an intel chipset like that physically available but if you could post your xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log that may be of help.

Re: Output to Television

dont know for i810 but nvidia you add something like this

Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
                     or
Option "TVOutFormat" "COMPOSITE"

you have from what i seen only

  Option "Composite" "Enable"

thats all i can see
i have nvidia so i dont know what all you need with i810
" hwd -x " will give sample xorg.conf generate one & scan through it see if it gives any info ?
