you prolly need to install wpython

azureus works for me. rtorrent probably does too. Neither of them use the python modules.
and yeah, the Wx error can be fixed with wxpython

imho u have only 2 options: rtorrent (which is cli) or transmission (which is both cli & gui).
azureus can be a 3rd option only if u can afford the java bloat and million of uneeded to the average torrent user features the devs decided to put in it
There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

If you like a gtk based torrent client, I find deluge very nice,
[crooksey@thinkpad ~]$ pacman -Ss deluge
community/deluge 0.5.0-3
Bittorrent client written in PyGTK
Arch Linux since 2006
Python Web Developer + Sys Admin (Gentoo/BSD)

I used Bittorrent before, but I got the impression it slowed down the system + system updates from pacman often broke it.
I will use Deluge when it can save sessions, and when it stops leaving "lock-files" lying around so Deluge won't start again.
For now I use Transmission - works great, but not as good looking as Deluge and Bittorrent IMHO.

Have you tried the latest one yet? I just upgraded this morning, 0.5.0 wasn't bad, but 0.5.1.1 is great. So far it has been flawless, it is faster, more stable and has more features.
