Lately I tried to listen to some last.fm tunes, and everytime I try, amarok just crashes or remains running in the background with the interface blocked.
I thought maybe it does this because of the streaming from last.fm, but then I tried with shoutcast streams and doesn't happen.
So, I launched amarok from a terminal and this is the error I get when loading the last.fm playlist:
amarok: ERROR: : couldn't create slave : Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Error loading 'amarok "%u"'.
Should I file a bug report... or does someone have any idea why this happens?

File a bug report. Its happened to me too but I have did not ran it from a konsole to chek it out, the interface just locks up for a good deal of time, then unlocks.. dont know why. But works pretty ok with di.com streams

Yeah, I must say, amarok has never dealt with those streams too well. I usually end up going on and just using their flash player to listen to the streams. Sure, it sucks cuzz amarok rules and it's the only player I use, but for those streams from last.fm, yeah.....

Odd that it works quite well for other streams for me... I think it has problems with last.fm maybe because last.fm is quite loaded and responds slow...

Sorry, I was busy lately, so this is what happens in fact: I choose to open a stream from last.fm (doesn't matter which one), it starts buffering, sometimes even starts playing, then it crashes. Sometimes even happened that the stream would play forever, but amarok's interface blanks out and doesn't refresh.
I will wait for 1.4.6 to come out and see if it's the same.

For me there's no crashing in Amarok, usually the stream will play for 10 minutes maybe, then all of a sudden just stop. Amarok is still open, didn't crash, just I have to play local music files because it won't reconnect to last.fm's stream.
