Missing icons

I'm having some small annoyances with my desktop environment atm. My alt-tab correctly shows icons for applications like Opera, Firefox, Pidgin, Thunar and Catfish, but I simply cannot get it to show anything except the default "square" icon for mplayer and urxvt.

I'm not really sure how this thing works, but I was thinking I could just create a /usr/share/applications/programname.desktop file with an Icon entry to solve this, but to my amazement both rxvt-unicode and mplayer already have one of these, with included custom icons and everything! I'm using Openbox, but I do not believe the Window Manager to be faulty here, as a friend of mine has a similiar problem with the same applications, using Xfce on Gentoo.

Any suggestions or pointers are appreciated. smile

Re: Missing icons

I'm having the exact same problem with the Gant icon theme on XFCE (with compiz fusion). All icons have their appropriate drawing except for the folder icon which is using the "new document" icon.
