[SOLVED] pommed and brightness

I have macbook and using xfce, pommed with gpommed. After update, when changing brightness, I have something like this: 2007-06-29-175605_1280x800_scrot.png.xs.jpg

How to turn the first info off?

Re: [SOLVED] pommed and brightness

The first info is HAL's doing. There is a HAL .fdi file specially geared toward the macbook's backlight. I simply renamed the file. Not sure if that is the best way of doing it, but it gave me the desired result.
/usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/10-macbook-backlight.fdi

Who is this doin' this synthetic type of alpha beta psychedelic funkin'?

Re: [SOLVED] pommed and brightness

I've renamed it (and removed it) and nothing has change. Hate that kind of changes hmm

Edit:
After restart it works. No idea why it doesn't after hal restart.
