Openoffice spellchecker installed but missing

I installed openoffice and I would like to not only use English spellchecker but also German spellchecker, so I installed:

pacman -S openoffice-base openoffice-de openoffice-spell-en openoffice-spell-de

I can use the English spellchecker without any problems, but once I try and select the German spellchecker I can't even find it. Tools->Spellchecker->Dictionary-> here I get all sorts of English, but I can't find German at all.

Anybody has any advise how to enable the spellchecker correctly?

If you want to, you can enable it by hand.  Go to /opt/openoffice.org/share/dict/ooo (or whatever, i am doing it from memeory.  Try `locate dictionary.lst`) and edit the dictionary.lst and add something like this:

DICT de DE de_DE
HYPH de DE hyph_de_DE
THES de DE th_de_DE_v2

You can see the exact names to use by doing an ls inthe directory.  There might not be a hyphenation file.
