For the first time, I've been able to configure Arch with all the features I need in my laptop:
* Suspend to RAM
* Sound
* Wireless network
* Synaptics touchpad
Granted, there's still plenty to do. I'm probably going to use ABS for the first time to build some apps, and then a custom kernel. And I want to enable certain keys on my keyboard, maybe with a fully custom keymap.
But I'm pleased, because the last few times I went with Arch there was always some feature I couldn't figure out. But with my main workstation being my Mac laptop (web designer) there really was no pressure for me to have a working system right away. Even so, it only took me maybe an hour of configuration, not including time to download packages, to get everything perfect.
