Package names

Sorry to ask this but im noticing that when people give instructions to download a package, the name is usually straightforward.  pacman -S xfce4 or pacman -S nvidia etc.  However in aur.archlinux.org/packages.php these packages do not appear.  Instead when I looked for xfce4 i found libxfce4mcs-svn 25684-1, libxfce4menu-svn 25737-1, libxfce4util-svn 25866-2 and xfce4-panel-svn 25891-1 but no xfce4.  And instead of nvidia, nouveau-drm-git 20070702-1 and xf86-video-nouveau-git 20070702-1 came up in the search instead.

Maybe I'll get a better idea when I install Arch (I just ordered a new HDD and when it gets here I'll install Arch on it) but do I need to type in these complicated package names?  At first I thought "xfce4" was an early name for the package and typing in pacman -S xfce4 no longer works... but maybe pacman automatically recognizes that "xfce4" really points to several xfce4 related packages?  Sorry I'm confused here.

Re: Package names

Ah that makes alot more sense.  Those are the same packages that are in every mirror and their names are much clearer.  It will still be fun to use the extra packages that are as of yet only in AUR.
