Fluxbox multiple xterms: how to mimic blackbox spacing question.

I used to use blackbox .6x with Slackware.  When I opened several xterms in a workspace they didn't get placed so all the borders touched, but had just a little bit of seperation between them, so one could see the background.  Fluxbox doesn't do that, with Slack or Arch.  Each xterm border is right up against the others.

I've tried to figure out what governs this behaviour by googling several times but always come up blank.  If anyone knows just what setup pieces are involved, and if fluxbox has the hooks to set them I'd appreciate it.

Thought I'd try here before trying the fluxbox forum.
