gnash does not run

i can not run gnash. this is what i get at terminal:

[arnuld@arch zzz]$ gnash flash7.swf

(gnash:785): GdkGLExt-WARNING **: Window system doesn't support OpenGL.
[arnuld@arch zzz]$

so gnash could not be run in Arch. right ?

(all movies play well in Flashplayer 7)

Have you OpenGL support on your machine?
Starting gnash on my pc and everything runs fine.

BTW, i have both "libgl-dri" and "mesa" installed on my system and i use "openchrome" VIA driver for my hardware:

ok i added all the lines except "Load "i810"" as i have VIA card (but i did add any line like "Load "via"" as replacement )

and now gnash plays the movies but it playes them in 50% of the screen, the other 50% of the screen is plain blank with a broad green strip in the middle of the gnash screen. also my whole window manager locks up when i use gnash for 1-2 minutes. mouse, keyboard stop responding, even the Flash movie i am playing hangs/freezes in there with a constant GRRRRRGRRRRR... sound and i always have to hard-boot to solve the issue.
