hi
i tried to mount an mmc/sd storage over my usb-cardreader but the problem was that i dont know wich /dev/ file it should have while mounting it.
a friend told me to configure HAL so it automounts cd's and other devices for me.
HAL works very good with cd's but only with cd's, it whont mount anything i give the cardreader to eat.
i followed the troubleshooting hint in the HAL entry of the wiki but there was no visible change, still there is no automounted mmc/sd card in my system.
the question now is:
how do i know wich entry in /dev/ i should mount?
and if i am able to mount it manualy, is there another hint how to automount such devices?
here's some debugging info:
Cardreader: "ednet. USB 2.0 16 in 1 Card Reader/Writer"
the insertet card is an MMC/SD card, 32 mB
i am using Duke with all updates installed.
i hope i explained the problem well enough
EDIT
omg, im realy sorry, i just insertet the card wrong x.x
please delete this post because it is an mark of human stupidity -.-
