Window Manager that keeps child windows in the desktop of their parent

Hello all !

I'm currently using KDE(mod), and I wonder if there is a way to force child windows to remain in the the same virtual desktop as their parent window ?
If not, is there any window manager that has this feature ?

Because, when using multiple windows apps, I find it very convenient to keep them on one unique virtual desktop, even if you are working with other apps...

cheers smile

Re: Window Manager that keeps child windows in the desktop of their parent

yeah, a feature that not many window manager have. i don't know why, because i need it!!! i use e17, there is a function to force a window to open only on a specific desktop. i think fluxbox can also remember position, size, desktop and so one.
anyone knows, if there is a plugin for compiz that adds such a feature?

oh, found out, that kwin can also remember settings!
