Hi all,
This problem is just an annoyance with the ugly OSD of keytouch, but one that I don't understand. I have Arch Linux on a laptop and my desktop, both with keytouch installed. The laptop has a pretty GUI when changing the volume, which is inline with the Domino style (current KDEmod style). My desktop, also using the Domino style, has the ugly OSD when I change volume. I've read the wiki and run Xsession from .kde/Autostart, but it still looks bad. I've also tried reinstalling keytouch and running it manually, but all get the ugly GUI.
When I run 'ps aux | grep keytouch' on my laptop, only one instance of keytouchd that was started by me. If I run that command on my desktop, I see two instances of keytouchd running (owned by me) and one instance of keytouch-acpid started by root.
I have a Logitech diNovo Cordless Media Desktop that is connected through bluetooth. Aside from the keyboard and mouse, there's also a media pad, which also has multimedia keys on it, and I assume that's why there's the second instance of keytouchd running, but the assumption doesn't hold when I start keytouchd manually, since only one instance shows up.
Anyone possibly know why my desktop's volume OSD is ugly?
