Arch or Kernel bug

I have got ps2 mouse and it doesn't want to work.I cant make it work with both official kernel and mine - same result. After two days spent on trying i discovered that i have to unplug it while the boot process is completed then i plug it again and all si fine .. but if i don't do this i get this error msg : psmouse.c: Failed to enable mouse on
sa0060/serio0  and my mouse doesnt work.I asked some people and they told me that this is probably some bug with symlinks and it is caused by udev rules or arch's inits..
Edit:When i got my mouse working it is lagging.. i'm using kernel 2.6.16.29 ( custom ) and kernel-2.6.22 from current .. Motherboard gigabyte 7zxe@KT133 chipset..
