F.E.A.R. Multiplayer

Anyone know how to get this going?

This is the last piece of Windows code that I need to get working on Linux.

I don't know where to even start.

It doesn't look very promising, sorry. Your best option for now is to boot into Windows for F.E.A.R., at least until VMWare gets 3D acceleration.

Re: F.E.A.R. Multiplayer

actually there seems to be a linux version for server.  Was wondering if it can play multiplayer as well because I looked it up once and saw something like that but now can't find it.  This is a great game I play with my brother and if there is a way to run it natively in linux, let me know.  I will keep looking and if there is no way, I will still dual-boot.  Thanks in advance.

A good many windows only games also have linux servers. Many co-located servers / game servers run on linux, which is why linux server software is provided, however, this doesn't mean the client also has a native port.

.Net requires MS DRM software to install now. It's not going to happen anytime soon (ever) in Wine.
