create u3 disk under linux

Does anyone know a linux equivalent of the windows lpinstaller.exe which takes an iso and puts it onto a SanDisk Cruzer U3 pen drive?

And I'll just stress, I only want to create the disk under linux, I don't want it to run under linux.

Re: create u3 disk under linux

It appears there is no linux equivalent, both the U3 uninstaller and lpinstaller are only available for windows.
(Max versions are also not available).

As it is a proprietary system that's windows-only and sandisk is working with Microsoft on a newer version that focuses even more on windows, it doesn't seem likely linux/mac versions will appear anytime soon.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Thats a shame, I'm creating the ISO and all the stuff to go on it under linux but then have to fire up vmware to actually put it on. Oh well.

Thanks
