[XFCE] Usb External Drive transfers speed and progress bar

Hello,

I just pluged my USB drive (partitioned in FAT and HFS+, i also have a mac).

1st - Why does it take so long to mount? I mean i double clicked the icon that showed up in my desktop and before i could actually what was inside it took quite some time. Is there a way to better this?

2nd - Is there a way to optimise transfer speed (FAT32 to my desktop)?

3rd - why oh why i never get to see a progressbar with details of the transfer? I never know when its done....

Maybe it's a bug, I think I recall a similar issue. A quick workaround is to copy to a directory instead of your desktop. Copying files into thunar will give you a progress dialog.
