Undervolting a AMD

Hi folks!

I have a question about undervolting an AMD (Turion) X2 processor. I want to set the vcore (the voltage) manual. So i read how i could do this.
Now i understand that i need a powernow-kernel-patch, but i don't find any for the 2.6.22-ARCH Kernel.

Can you post me a link to a patch please?

There is no patching needed.

Hi,
thanks for your link. But my question was about setting the voltage and not to step the processor. I want to run it with 0.975V on 1,6GHz and with 0,725V on 800MHz. In Windows i can use CPU-RightMark but for Linux, i don't find this Kernelpatch where i can set the Voltages!

I heard that the beyond kernel was capable of undervolting your cpu.

Unfortunately it has been discontinued.

If my information is right (which doesn't need to be the case!), you cannot get around building your own kernel.

yeah i thought so, but where can i find a up-to-date powernow-vcore patch?
