comment all entries and run locale-gen maybe?
There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

mm i tried that but it`s no back to default
if you wonder how i know that there is one simple answer : vlc.
before i change the locale the vlc always noticed me that he can`t set the locale

now, after i "comment all entries and run locale-gen" i don`t get this message - that means i didn't coming back to default - or i wrong?

Default locale is en_us.utf8.

so why the locale doesn't coming back to default? (vlc doesn't give any more the locale error)
Offline
The default locale is en_us.utf8 which comes uncommented by default in don't panic.
Before that release all of the locales were commented by default and you needed to uncomment en_us.utf8 yourself.
Offline
ok, before "don't panic" has been released , what happed if you didn`t uncomment any locale?
( "all of the locales were commented by default")

You would most likely get errors.
Out of curiosity why do you want to have no locales - it seems a bit odd.
Offline
well you right - i did get errors ( vlc and pacman ) then i added the en_us.utf8 to locale and the errors were gone.
But
after i commented en_us.utf8 and run "locale-gen" the errors should coming back - well they don`t - Why?
i think that the changing with the locale i did coused me a problem with terminal emulator
any idea?
