Realtek HDA

Hi all,

I've got built-in Realtek High Definition Audio card in my laptop (Samsung R40) and there's a problem with phone-out. Actually, under Arch it doesn't turn off built-in speakers when headphones are plugged in. Maybe someone had similar problem and there's known solution? Rather disturbing, you know sad

Thx in advance cool

Re: Realtek HDA

I had similar problem with amazingly stupid HP Pavilion dv6018 (it was so stupid, i was celebrating two days when i sold it). This is common "jack sensing" problem. Check alsa bugtracker for more info, maybe there are patches available already

Re: Realtek HDA
