Compiz-Fusion, Gnome, ATI,XGL

hola,

i finally set up Compiz-Fusion working with my ATI 1300 under XGL. my problem is that so far i need to start it manually. also video playback in fullscreen is slow. i need to run the following command to start Compiz-Fusion with Gnome:

LD_PRELOAD=/lib/mesa/libGL.so.1.2 fusion-icon

is there a way to run this command automatically when i start my gnome session. i use gdm as a login manager.

any help is highly appreciated. also what can i do to fix my video playback in fullscreen.

cheers, shemeta

Re: Compiz-Fusion, Gnome, ATI,XGL

Gnome Menu => System => Preferences => Session

Add Fusion to your startup programs.

On the next fusion-icon update, it shouldn't require the LD_PRELOAD line, as it's been added to the inbuilt list of libGL locations.

Or other option is to write a bash script and place that in the startup. Thats what I'm doing.
