gnumeric - missing schema

With gnumeric 1.2.8 (gnome 2.6) and with en_GB localisation, almost all of the options in gnumeric (in the prefs) are called 'missing schema'. It is still usable, but I can't tell what any of the configuration options do (expect fonts). Any ideas?

Same problem here, and I'm using en_US-ISO-8859.1
