VLC - Corrupted Package

I try to install VLC, but I fail each time because of the following:

# pacman -S vlc
resolving dependencies... done.
looking for inter-conflicts... done.

Before installing VLC, I made a "pacman -Syu" in Shell. Changing the Mirror doesn't have any effect on the issue.

Try... pacman -Scc
Then pacman -Sy vlc

See if that helps.

You said you already tried changing mirrors. You might look to find a mirror that has the current pkg. I would also try checking the md5sum manually, to see if it is pacman having a problem, or if the pkg is actually being corrupted during download.
