Kernel update

Is there any way to remove kernel permanently from system update? I'm happy with my current kernel and i don't see why i would upgrade it with a new one for the time being....

Re: Kernel update

Check IgnorePkg option in /etc/pacman.conf

However, ignoring kernel updates may not be a good idea.

Re: Kernel update

Tx for your help. I was stupid as always and i didn't refer to man pages first wink I don't see the need for new kernel this often, except if it has some security issues. In that case i will upgrade it manualy. Tx again.
