fglrx + pm-utils + framebuffer = Successful suspend for anyone?

I'm curious to know if anyone has had success getting the fglrx driver to suspend with a framebuffer enabled, such as vga=791, etc.  If so, can you please tell us how you did it?

Currently, I can only get suspend2disk and suspend2ram working if the framebuffer is disabled (e.g. vga=0), which makes for a pretty ugly console...

Suspend does not work with framebuffer for me.  I'm looking for a solution as well.
