lyx-1.5.1 available from Aug 4, 2007

Dear all,

Lyx-1.5.1 is available from last Aug 4th, 2007 in the official place (ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/stable/lyx-1.5.1.tar.gz).

Nevertheless the *last* official package provided in the extra repository still the outdated lyx 1.4.3-1

I'm using KDE  3.5 (last snapshot) and I've succesfully compiled and installed lyx-1.5.1: the only requirement is qt4.

When it will be a part of the official repos?

Most probably when QT4 replaces QT3 in the official repos and all other depending packages were successfully recompiled.

Doesn`t it compile with qt3? Then you`ll have to wait till qt4 is in [extra].
