mplayer-plugin doesnt show in about:plugins?
Why..
I have installed mplayer-plugin but it doesnt show when I type about:plugins in firefox?

Why is all mplayer plugins put here:
/opt/mozilla/lib/plugins/
I had to copy /opt/mozilla/lib/plugins/*.* to .mozilla/plugins/ to make firefox notice all the mplayerplugins.. now it shows in about:plugins.

You can change the plugins path using $MOZILLA_PLUGIN_DIR
