Problems in netbeans!

Hi!
I am running arch 86_64. I have a problem with netbeans. As you might know you very often use these signs: '{ [ ] }'. But when I holdin Alt Gr and press for example 7 you would normally get { but I just get the number 7. Can anybody help me?

Re: Problems in netbeans!

does this just happen inside netbeans? because it simply could be a wrong xorg.conf setup of your keyboard.

Re: Problems in netbeans!

Funny, I didn't know those keys smile but they work fine in netbeans here. There were some bugs in the keyboard handling in swing apps in the past, but they were almost all fixed in java 6. What is your java version?

Re: Problems in netbeans!

since I just used pacman to install it and I have used 'pacman -Syu' several times after installing it, it should be 6
