Decent fonts in mozilla-firefox on fluxbox-devel?

Now that my system is operational again, I need to make it more usable.  And easier on my eyes.

I'm running mozilla-firefox on fluxbox-devel.  In firefox, I set the minimum font size from "none" to "14", and in fluxbox I turned on anti-aliasing.  It looks better than it did, but i think it could look a lot better.  My screen is a flatpanel set at 1024x768.

I did a "fluxbox -info" and XFT is enabled.

If I change to xfce4, will the fonts look better?

thx!

I use Fluxbox and Mozilla Firefox.   You can try this:

'pacman -S ttf-ms-fonts'

That made fonts look much better, at least for me.   Yeah, yeah, they're Microsoft fonts, but I don't care.

Fluxbox fonts are independent of the  firefox fonts, firefox has it's own font settings somewhere in it's options.

man XF86Config

See () regarding Monitors and in particular 'DisplaySize'.

This affects _all_ fonts not handled by the window manager.

i.e. my 1024x768 LCD is 85-dpi x 85-dpi

This fixes the general look/size of the fonts
