K3B doesn't want to burn my dvds anymore !

I made a video (animated gif) of the problem, it's really strange and I did not have this problem before.
I'm using a USB DVD burner and it is automatically recognized when I plug it in and insert a DVD. But when k3b starts, it disapears and I can't bring it back unless I disconnect and reconnect it.

edit: k3b 1.0.3 on KDEmod 3.5.7, updated daily

Re: K3B doesn't want to burn my dvds anymore !

I investigated more and when I plug in the DVD drive with a CD or DVD I can read it correctly.
When I launch k3b with a CD or with no media, everything seems fine, the DVD burner is not disconnected.
However, as soon as I launch k3B with a DVD in the burner or insert a DVD inside the burner when k3b is launched, the DVD devie disapears with the above log.
