Hard disk problem? (when playing music..)

Ok, this is weird.. I play my music with mpd+ncmp.. Recently I've had an annoying problem: When I play some music, the music stops for a couple of seconds, then it continues. It seems like this thing only happens when I play music, never had problems with playing videos etc. Haven't had any problems with Amarok, but I usually play only cd:s with it. Also, I'm not sure, but it seems like this thing happens only when I'm away from computer (listening music while laying down in bed for example..).

I had similar problem some months ago, but it was because the IDE cable was badly connected.

There are some strange warning in errors.log:

Sep  9 15:46:02 aateekoo via686a 0000:00:04.4: base address not set - upgrade BIOS or use force_addr=0xaddr

^ this error happens every few hours..

Sep  9 20:46:23 aateekoo eth0: Bus master arbitration failure, status 88f3.

^this happens like once in minute, when I'm surffing the net..

Guess I should update my BIOS, too bad I don't have a floppy drive.. The hard drive is pretty new (like six months old), and I haven't noticed any other problems with it..

Hopefully you people understand what I'm explaining, my English isn't that good..

UPDATE: no I had the playback problem with Amarok as well (while I playes mp3s from my hard disk..)
