How to boost amarok performace?

I use amarok as my music player. I use mysql as database for about a year because it is significantly faster than sqllite. But it still takes some time to search the playlist. Is there anything else that I can do to improve performance (maybe some mysql trick)?

I don't want to use other players, because I use KDE and amarok fits nicely and it is also the most powerfull of qt based players.

how long are we talking about here? does it take up to 10 seconds for your search results to filter?

Its sad you have to put this here. Those guys who don't really solve problems, they just try to get you to conform to the way they do things -- what jerks ;p

It takes 3-5 seconds.

I didn't want to be rude. This is absolutely the best forum on the internet. Almost no flaming, everbody is nice and helping each other. There are no jerks here. I was misunderstood. Maybe I need to improve my English..
