Hi all, just to let you guys know that i've cooked up a new wallpaper. A new version with transparent background it on the way. Comments will be appreciated!

I guess it make a good boot splash for splashy or even maybe gensplash

hmm looks great i like it and would definitly be a cool theme for splashy

edit: hmm it would be nice if there is an version with higher reselution

I also could imagine it for a splash theme! A black version would be nice too!

hi all, sorry but I make all my artwork on my laptop which only supports 1024x768 but if you try this wallpaper as a gensplash background and use terminus font size 12 you'll be more than happy with it I am just overwrite darch's default background and take all necessary steps to get a working gensplash and just watch it.

hey kanim, i have a special treat for you overwrite your background-1024x768.png file in /etc/splash/darch/images with this http://files.myopera.com/spookykid/files/linux_mod.png and your verbose-1024x768.png with this http://files.myopera.com/spookykid/albu … /linux.png and tell my what you think. Also as console font use Terminus font size 12. This is my current setup . Note this only works good for booting in 1024x768 resolution.

hehe thx for that but i no longer using a bootscreen couse splashy had some issuse when cheking the partition so i had often problems with that...

but i like the colours ,i often create such colorful pictures myself.

maybe in the future i'll patch my kernel but it once had broken my system
