Radeon 9600XT problems.
fglrx driver crashes with most OpenGL software and wine games, so I tried to change to radeon driver.
Resolution messed up and I can't change it from 800x600. 800x600 is not in the config.. only resolution found in my config is 1280x1024 (works with fglrx driver and used to work with radeon driver). radeon doesn't have any other options than XAANoOffscreenPixmaps true and AGPMode 4.
It used to work earlier (before I had to use windows for a few months) but not anymore. Anyone else having similiar problems?

Do you still have fglrx-utils installed? The libgl provided therein probably doesn't work well with the OSS drivers - you'd need libgl-dri

I changed fglrx-utils to libgl and even restarted the puter to make sure all unneeded modules had gone.
