when having tv-screen connected, cli is weird :S

i have a 2 screen setup with a normal computer screen and my tv. i use twinview and have a nvidia geforce 7300gt.
when i start my computer i come to the cli and the login comes up (inside the cli, no GUI). nothing weird at all.
then i "startx" and my openbox starts. nothing weird here either.
then i logut from my openbox session to the cli, and it looks like this: http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/4301/3182547qu1.jpg

this does not happen when i dont have my tv connected. so it has to be something about that i guess.
anyone knows whats wrong?

I think this is a known problem with some set ups - I have exactly the same.
There was a forum post about this once before, and it is mentioned on a arch wiki page somewhere but I really can't remember where.

edit: I found this page. although it is quite old, it suggests problem is something to do with framebuffer.

I'd suggest you use the second screen to clone your first one instead of putting the second screen to the right or left, if possible.
It seems to prevent this bug.

i always clone, the bug still shows up
