RPM Package Manager

Hi, can anyone help me, I would like to install the rpm package management program with the package built from AUR, but I get always the error message:

make[2]: *** [rpmdav.lo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/markus/Desktop/rpm/src/rpm-4.4.6/rpmio'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

would really appreciate if anyone of you could help me!!

This is Arch objecting to your attempt to install an inferior package management system.

Seriously, though ... the actual error occurred earlier in the build. Please paste the entire output here and post the link here.
