Rhythmbox Sound Splutter

I don't know why this happens but all my music in Rhythmbox is played with splutters.. It's very distractive so I can't listen to any music now.. Any suggestions or comments ?

Well, if splutters is what I really understand it to be is what is happening to me after upgrading to the latest rhythmbox and Gnome in testing. I fixed it with just moving the volume slide one down arrow below. I think you should try moving the volume down in rhythmbox a bit and see if it keeps doing it.

it's a big lol but enable crossfading... btw. it's a recommended workaround

LOL crossfading fixes it LOL. Well if you don't like crossfading my fix is a recommended workaround the voulme control in rhythmbox should be moved just a bit down (a down arrow key touch is eneough).

anybody noticed the sounds stuttering when playing m4a files?

its playing half a second, silent for half second, then playing another half a second....

Well; Rhythmbox also has problems with Radio Stations.. it starts using 100% CPU and Rhythmbox needs to be get killed...
