problem with kde

Hi!

I<ve just pacman-ed the whole kde thing, and now Im on KDE but, I cant start any apps, theres nothing in the menu, and even the icons on the desktop ask me with what I should start them.


What should I do?

You can try to remove the .kde directory under your home directory.

did you log out and back in for /opt to be sourced ?

Im running it root for now, because I just wanted to try.

But Im unable to run it with my default user. And by the way where is xorg.conf ???

Regarding Xorg: See the Wiki Page http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xorg
Your xorg.conf should be at /etc/X11/
