Huge problems with the Netbeans C++ .bin pack!
Hi!
I downloaded the netbeans 5.5.1 trough pacman, and downloaded this http://www.netbeans.org/products/cplusplus/index.html, but it just wont run and install like it should.
It goes like:
Initializing InstallShield Wizard........
Verifying JVM.
*DIE*
And thats just stupid, so. Anyone out there with an idea how to fix this?
Help is much appreciated!!

chmod +x filename.bin
Than, you need bc, i think: pacman -S bc
Than, run this as root, since, it needs to write into /usr/lib/...

I know, first i got the unkown command, bc. I fixed that by installing it, and i have tried running it as root. Same result, i wish it would as least give me an errormessage of some kind.

Perhaps reinstall your jre,jdk, cause, install fails at this step...

I tried that aswell, this sucks.
Oh well, eclipse sounds okay. Im gonna try that. :wee:
