Pacman/Yaourt makes mouse freeze

When I login and do yaourt -Syu, after a while the mouse freezes. I can still use the keyboard. Restarting X does nothing. A reboot fixes it. I don't really understand whats happening. Please help!

Re: Pacman/Yaourt makes mouse freeze

Mouse keeps moving, and you can kill X with ctrl-alt-backspace? Only started happening in the last few days?

If you have those exact same symptoms, post here:

Re: Pacman/Yaourt makes mouse freeze

I can't move the mouse at all. I'm using KDEmod..it may have something to do with that, as it worked fine when I used Xfce...maybe I'll have to start using that again. I'm not using testing. I have a savage video card if that helps.
