Mouse lost response suddenly

I`m new to linux.This is my first time to configure linux system.And I met some trouble.
When I use KDE for a while the the mouse stopped suddenly without any System-notice.And everything else is OK. The keyboard,and Linux system works well. But when I try to use Ctrl+Alt+Backspace to go back.The whole system down. And I have to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot.
My computer is DELL C521.
